Executive summary:

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the viscosity of the test substance.

The study was designed in accordance with accepted principles in order to meet the requirements of the Commission Regulation (EU) No 283/2013 in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and US EPA OCSPP Series 830 - Product Properties Test Guidelines.

The viscosity of the test substance was measured at shear rates of 0.28 to 0.93 sec-1 at 20°C and 9.30 to 55.80 sec-1 at 40°C.

The test item was found to be Newtonian in its flow behaviour. Under the specified test conditions, the measured dynamic viscosity was 27720 mPa.s at 20°C and 596.2 mPa.s at 40°C. The kinematic viscosity was calculated as 20210 mm2/s at 20°C and 434.6 mm2/s at 40°C.
