Temp.:
25 °C
Remarks on result:
other: completely miscible
Test substance stable:
yes
Details on results:
The test substance was completely miscible in all solvents except for hexane (47 g/L). The solubility in hexane has been quoted correct to two significant figures and is the weight of the active ingredient per litre of saturated solution.
Conclusions:
The solubility of the test substance tested has been assessed and the test substance was found to be completely miscible in seven different organic solvents. In the eighth solvent, n-hexane, it was found to be soluble at 47g/L.
Executive summary:

The solubility of test substance has been determined in eight organic solvents. As there is no general method available for the determination of the solubility in organic solvents, a SOP was followed in this study. The solubility of the test substance in seven different organic solvents showed to be completely miscible. In the eighth solvent, n-hexane, it was found to be soluble at 47g/L. The test substance is considered stable in organic solvents.

Description of key information

The test substance can be considered completely miscible in organic solvents, ie. ethanol, acetone, ethyl acetate, methanol, dichloromethane, toluene and octanol. It was found to be soluble in n-hexane up to 47 g/L, Stulz 1994.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
