Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The test mixtures produced pressure rise from 690kPa to 2070kPa at 15.59s average for the 65% aqueous nitric acid/cellulose test item mixture and 3.94s average for the 65% aqueous nitric acid/cellulose reference item mixture. In accordance with the criteria of UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Test O.3, the test substance is not classified as an oxidising substance.
Executive summary:

An oxidising properties study based on the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria: Test O.3 and in compliance with GLP has been conducted on the test substance. The test mixtures produced pressure rise from 690 kPa to 2070 kPa at 15.59s average for the 65% aqueous nitric acid/cellulose test item mixture and 3.94s average for the 65% aqueous nitric acid/cellulose reference item mixture. The test substance is not classified as an oxidising substance.

Description of key information
