Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance was investigated for long-term toxicity to invertebrates in an OECD 211 daphnia reproduction study. The NOEC for mortality in this study was set to 320 µg/L (nominal) and 227 µg/L (measured TWA), whereas the NOEC for reproduction was found being 12.8 µg/L (nominal) and 10.1 µg/L (measured TWA), respectively.

It should be noted that with the used analytical method, the dissolved and particulate matter could not be distinguished and hence, the reported concentrations refer to total test material present in the water column. Considering that water solubility was determined being ~8 µg/L in an OECD 105 study and that solubility in test medium used has been determined in an independent experiment being <0.512 µg/L the presence of particulate matter at doses 12.8 µg/L and above is assumed.

In conclusion, no effects on mortality and reproduction were observed within the limits of water solubility in this study (<0.512 µg/L).
