First-aid measures
Ingestion: Allow the victim to rest. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.
Inhalation: Allow the victim to rest. Assure fresh air breathing. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice.
Skin contact: Remove contamined clothes for decontamination by the bottom (not to contaminate the face). Rinse the skin during at least 15 minutes with water at 15° C at 15 cm. Contact a physician if redness or irritation appear.
Eyes contact : Immediately rinse with clean water for 15-20 minutes, and respect this time. Avoid contaminating the healthy eye during the rinsing. Contact an ophthalmologist if redness or irritation appear.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media : Carbon dioxide. Powder. 5.2.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: : This product, like all products in powder form, can generate an explosion due to dust.
Hazardous combustion products: Under fire conditions, hazardous fumes will be present. COx. NOx.
Advice for fire fighters:
Protection against fire: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment: fire clothes, boots and Individual Respiratory Protection.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective eguipment and emergency procedures
Advices for non-emergency personnel: Do not breathe dust.
Advices for emergency responders: Delimit the discharge area. Protective equipment not required.
Environmental precautions: No special precaution
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Collect by wet sweeping, avoiding dust production
Special precautions: Avoid dust production.
Handling and storage
Handling: avoid dust production
Industrial hygiene : Wash the hands after each handling. Remove the contaminated clothes. Do not drink, eat or smoke in the handling room. Inspect the individual protection equipments after each handling. No personal objects on the working station. Avoid bringing at home contaminated clothes. Change systematically the clothes at the hours of pause or meal.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage: : Store in tightly closed. Store at room temperature. Store in dry, well-ventilated area.
