Description of key information
In accordance with column 2 (9.3.2) of REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC) Annex IX, bioaccumulation testing in aquatic species is not needed because the substance has a low bioaccumulation potential as demonstrated by the low log Kow.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
Log Kow of – 0.34 is determined with the slow stirring method for the 3-(isodecyloxy)propanamine (CAS no 30113-45-2). This value has been read-across to 3-(isodecyloxy)propanamine acetate (CAS no 28701-67-9). The tested substance has the same chemical structure as the registered substance, with the only difference that the registered substance is neutralized with acetate.
