Description of key information

According to “ANNEX IX- STANDARD INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBSTANCES MANUFACTURED OR IMPORTED IN QUANTITIES OF 100 TONNES OR MORE, study for Stability in organic solvents and identity of relevant degradation products is only required if stability of the substance is considered to be critical.
But one reliable report source is available and report that the substance is stable but the substance is very soluble in organic solvents as ethanol and methanol and therefore is not stable in organic solvents as ethanol and methanol and stable in other organic solvents.

The substance is from Glycol Ethers Category: Its functional groups indicate no instabilities in common organic solvents. Stability in organic solvents is not considered critical. (Ref. 1)

The substance is very soluble in organic solvents(Polar protic solvents)as ethanol and methanol and therefore is not stable in organic solvents as ethanol and methanol and stable in other organic solvents.

 

Therefore testing for stability in organic solvents does not need to be performed.
