Description of key information

The key value was determined to be 9.96 at 25 °C by QSAR estimation (EPIWIN/KOWWIN v1.68 by US-EPA) (2011).
Further, the partition coefficient of tris(2-ethylhexyl) 2-(acetyloxy)propane-1,2,3-tricarboxylate was determined in a non-GLP study (2011) according to EU Method A.8. Using the HPLC method the partition coefficient was reported to be > 5.7 at 23 °C. A more precise value could not be obtained during this test, so the calculated value was taken as key value for chemical safety assessment.
