Additional information

Condensation Product of N-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine, N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N’-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine and Formic Acid

are not readily biodegradable according to OECD guideline criteria.

Determination of the hydrolysis rate for Condensation Product of N-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine, N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N’-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine and Formic Acid

is considered not to be technically possible due to its low water solubility and the fact that it is a complex substance comprising numerous components (UVCB). A waiver is therefore proposed for this test.

No experimental data are available for determining fish bioaccumulation potential for Condensation Product of N-C12-C18 -Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine, N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N’-C12-C18-Alkylpropane-1,3-Diamine and Formic Acid

and therefore the notifier proposes to carry out a sediment bioconcentration test according to OECD 315 for ruling on bioaccumulation potential.
