Conclusions:
Available data from 1-Octadecanol, phosphate, potassium salt were used to evaluate toxicity to microorganisms for Phosphoric acid, C12-18-alkyl esters, potassium salts.
The toxicity to microorganisms of the read-across substance 1-Octadecanol, phosphate, potassium salt was tested in a study according to OECD guideline 209 using activated sludge from a domestic sewage treatment plant as inocumlum.
No significant inhibition was observed at the highest test concentration of 1000 mg/L 1-Octadecanol, phosphate, potassium salt.

3h NOEC ≥ 1000 mg/L
3h EC20 > 1000 mg/L
3h EC50 > 1000 mg/L

Description of key information

A 3h-NOEC of > 1000 mg/L for toxicity to microorganisms was determined for Phosphoric acid, C12-18 alkyl esters, potassium salts based on read-across information.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for microorganisms:
1 000 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
1 000 mg/L
