Using a linear heating rate of 0.5 °C/min the melting range of the test item was found to be 45 – 49 °C (318 – 322 K).

Executive summary:

A study according to OECD 102 and EU Method A.1 was performed to determine the melting point of the test item. The capillary method was used. Using heating rate of 0.5 °C/min three measurements with 3 replicates each were conducted. The test item melting range was determined to be 45 - 49 °C at 101.3 kPa.
