Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
Use of read-across to fill data gaps for the subject of Registration, Neononanoic acid glycidyl ester (2,3 -epoxypropyl neonoanoate) CAS No. 144548 -01-6, from 2,3 -epoxypropyl neodecanoate ( EC No. 247-979-2/CAS No. 26761-45-5/REACH Registration: 01-2119431597-33-0000) is justified in the attachment. Based upon the use of read-across the Auto Ignition Temperatue of Neononanoic acid glycidyl ester is 276 ± 5 °C. Read-across to data for 2,3 -epoxypropyl neodecanoate was also used for Surface Tension determination. The surface Tension of a 90% saturated solution of the test substance was 45.3-48.9 mN/m at 21-22 °C. Therefore the test substance is considered to be surface active.
Other physicochemical parameters were determined experimentallt for the test substance and included: A freezing point of lower than -80°C and boiling point determined to be 253.6°C at 29.8 inHg. The extrapolated vapor pressure was detennined to be 0.0965 Pascals at 20°C and 0.2171 Pascals at 25°C. The solubility in water of the test substance was determined to be 152 mg/L and the partition coefficient (P0w) was determined to be 2900 with a Log Pow. of 3.47. The specific gravity of the test substance was determined to be 0.97 (20/20,). The viscosity of the test substance was determined to be 7.50 cSt at 20°C and 4.80 cSt at 40°C and flash point was determined to be >95.1°C.
