Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

With high probability acutely not harmful to fish, no toxic effects occur in the range of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The LC0 and the LC50 values of the test substance in Danio rerio were found to be > 90 µg/L respectively (CIBA-GEIGY 1997). The upper limit of the water solubility was determined to be less than 100 µg/L in a GLP study according to 92/69/EEC, A.6 (CIBA-GEIGY 1996). Another water solubility test within the framework of a acute daphnia study demonstrated that the water solubility of the test substance is about 1 µg/L (CIBA-GEIGY 646525, 1997). Therefore the determined LC50 value clearly exceeds water solubility and the test substance is considered as not acutely harmful to fish.
