According to their molecular structures, substances in the category are expected to hydrolyze into 2 molecules of alcohol and a molecule of adipic acid. Adipic acid is not expected to further hydrolyze because of the absence of hydrolysable groups. Also alcohols esterified with adipic acid do not have hydrolysable groups, therefore no further hydrolysis is expected. This is also confirmed by the predicted half-life of the category members, which is very high (years).
