A read-across was performed from 2 -Propanol, 1,1'-[[3 -[(3 -aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivatives for the study of acute toxicity to fish. The acute toxicity of 2 -Propanol, 1,1'-[[3 -[(3 -aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivatives(Jenkins, 2011) w

as evaluated with Oncorhynchus mykiss in a study performed in accordance with OECD testing guideline 203 and GLP. The 96-hr LC50 value for rainbow trout exposed to this substance was 78.9 µg/L.

In Jenkins (2011), the effect of Amines, N-tallow alkyltrimethylenedi-, propoxylated on

the reproduction of Daphnia magna was determined in accordance with OECD testing guideline 211 and GLP.

Reproduction was significantly reduced at a concentration of 10 µg/L, giving a NOEC of 3.2 µg/L and a LOEC of 32µg/L.

The LC50 value for mortality of the parental generation was 39.4 µg/L.

The determination of the growth inhibition of the fresh algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata exposed to

Amines, N-tallowalkyltrimethylenedi-, propoxylated for a

duration of 72h was performed following the method OECD 201 and according to GLP (Jenkins 2011). The 96 -hr EC50 for algae was 28.2 µg/L and the 96 -hr NOEC was 9.77 µg/L.
