Stability
Hydolysis
The assessment of hydrolytic stability of the test substance was carried out according to OECD 111 (2004), (reference 5.1.2-1). The test item was determined to be hydrolytically stable (t1/2 > 1 year at 25 °C) at pH 4, 7 and 9.
Biodegradation
Biodegradation in water: screening test
The ready biodegradability of the test item was determined according to OECD 301 D (1992) (reference 5.2.1-1). Within the study period of 28 days, a degradation of < 0 % was determined for the test substance. Therefore, the test substance can be considered to be not ready biodegradable.
Transport and distribution
Adsorption / desorption
The adsorption coefficient of the test item was determined according to the HPLC-method described in guideline 67/548/EEC, annex C.19 and OECD 121 (2001). The Log Koc was determined as 0.010 and lies outside the range of the reference items (range: 1.32 - 5.63). Therefore the log Koc of the test item is stated as < 1.32.
