Conclusion on classification

The submission substance is readily biodegradable with a log Kow value lower than 4.0 (=1.83) and has a 96h LC50 for Danio rerio greater than 1 mg/L (96h LC50 = 13 mg/L, LAUS GmbH, 2013), a 48h EC50 for Daphnia magna greater than 1 mg/L (48h EC50 = 1.13 mg/L, Bayer, 1999), and a 72h EC50 for algae greater than 1 mg/L (72h ErC50 = 24 mg/L, LAUS GmbH, 2013).  As a result, the substance does not meet the criteria for classification according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, Annex I section 4.
