Description of key information

Under testing conditions for a 21-day reproduction study, 4,4’-DDS did not affect reproduction of Daphnia magna at 0.22 mg/l after 21 days of exposure (NOEC).
Exposure to 4,4’-DDS concentrations of 0.46 mg/l and higher induced significant inhibition of the reproductive capacity of the parental daphnids (LOEC).
