- Justification:
According to Annex XIII of REACH, criteria for the assessment of PBT and vPvB properties do not apply to inorganic substances. Thus, sodium borohydride cannot be considered PBT/vPvB. In addition, sodium borohydride rapidly hydrolyzes in water with half-lives ranging from seconds to minutes at environmentally relevant pHs.
