Additional information

The test substance, 2,3 -epoxypropyl o-tolyl ether, was tested for toxicity to aquatic invertebrates in an O.E.C.D. test guideline 202 Daphnia study with concentration verification. The test substance had a 48 hr EC50 value of 3.3 mg/L nominal (2.8 mg/L actual) with 95% Confidence Limits of 2.6 - 4.1 mg/L This finding demonstrates that the test substance is toxic to Daphnia. A second non-GLP study with only a 24 hr exposure period reported an EC50 value of 16 mg/L (nominal) for Daphnia.
