Description of key information

Two studies on tadpoles from Xenopus laevis and Rana bravipoda porosa were conducted. The determined LC50 and IC50 values respectively ranged from 4.3 to 12.8 g/l

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The parameters studied in both of the tadpole studies demonstrate that formamide is not harmful to the test organisms.
