The melting point of 1,3 -butadiene has been reported as -108.902 °C (Kirk-Othmer 4th Edition, 1991) to -108.966 °C (Merck Index 11th Edition, 1989). Other reported values: -108.9 °C (CRC Handbook 75 Edition, 1994; Howard, 1990; BASF safety data sheet) and -109 °C (Huls safety data sheet).
