Description of key information

A study (Tremain, 2007) concluded that the test material has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.

Additional information

The test material was heated in an oven and the relative self ignition temperature determined. Testing was conducted using Method A16 of Commission Directive 92/69/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).

The test material has been determined not to have a relative self-ignition temperature below its melting temperature.
