Description of key information

The particle size distribution of the substance was determined from a combination of manual sieve analysis and laser diffraction particle size analysis-'wet' small volume dispersion method (GLP-compliant study in accordance with OECD 110). Manual sieve analysis result: 98.89% by weight is > 250 µm, 0.18% by weight is < 63 µm. Laser diffraction particle size analysis result for the < 63 µm fraction: MMAD= 30.737 µm; 0.051% is < or = 10.00 µm; 10% is < 4.035 µm; 50% is < 28.295 µm and 90% is < 74.222 µm.

Additional information

MMAD of the entire sample was not determined as the results of PSD analysis of this substance should be compared with the read-across substance (see IUCLID section 13, Read-across report analogue approach) and therefore the test protocol of the analogue substance was followed as much as possible.
