Conclusion on classification

Acute:

Acute aquatic toxicity tests with fish, daphnia and algae are available. At the solubility limit no toxicological effects were observed. Therefore, Category Acute 1 does not apply.

Chronic:

Chronic aquatic toxicity tests with fish, daphnia and algae are available. No effects were observed up to the maximum solubility of test substance in media (WAFs prepared at a loading rate up to 1000 mg/L did not result in effects). Even though the test substance is not readily or inherently biodegradable, the absence of effects in long-term tests shows that the safety net classification (cat. 4) is also not applicable. The substance does not need to be classified.
