Additional information

A study was performed according to OECD guideline 202 to assess the acute toxicity of DMATO to Daphnia magna. Due to the low aqueous solubility and complex nature of the test item, for the purposes of the test, the test item was prepared as a Water Accommodated Fraction (WAF). Daphnia were exposed to the substance at loading rates of 0.10, 0.18, 0.32, 0.56 and 1.0 mg/L for 48 hours at a temperature of 21°C to 22 °C under semi-static test conditions.

The 48 -hour EL50 for immobilization was found to be 0.75 mg/L and the NOEL was found to be 0.56 mg/L. The Lowest Effect Loading rate was considered to be 1.0 mg/L loading rate WAF.
