No data on carcinogenicity ofpenta-1,3-diene is available in humans and experimental animals. The OECD scientific assessment panel overall considers this substance as “ presently of low concern”.

 

Given that this substance is used only in closed industrial systems as monomer/intermediate substance with no dispersive use, human exposure to this chemical (outside industrial premises) is not likely.
