Description of key information

The melting range of the substance was determined to be 23-60°C according to EU Method A1 using Differential Scanning Calorimetry.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two studies were performed to determine the melting point of the test substance according to EU Method A1 and in compliance with GLP. In the first study using a method to determine freezing temperature, no definitive freezing point was observed during analysis but crystallization was seen at varying temperatures. In the second study three Differential Scanning Calorimetry tests were performed and the test substance melting range was determined to be 23 - 60°C at 101.3 kPa.
