Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The experimental study is waived.

The QSAR MPBPWIN v1.43 predicts vapour pressure values at 25°C (selected method out of 3 methods):

- 12.8 Pa for the substance itself (key value, mean of Antoine & Grain methods); NB: the corresponding MW value is 196.29.

- 12.1 Pa for a potential impurity (supportive, modified Grain method): residual raw material 3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexanol (CAS 116-02-9); NB: the corresponding MW value is 142.24. This impurity's contribution to inhalative exposure is negligible, because its VP, MW and Concentration are all lower than for the substance itself (inhalative exposure being proportional to VP.MW.C product).

Further results for the substance itself: 19.2, 41.3, 162, 891 and 3590 Pa at 30, 40, 60, 90 and 120°C, resp.

These values are acceptable for exposure assessment and classification and labelling.
