Conclusions:
The daphnia toxicity of 1,3-difluorobenzene was determined by trend analysis using the QSAR Toolbox and the 48h - EC50 - intoxication was 4.73 mg/L.

Description of key information

Two predictions were performed with QSAR Toolbox, one by read-across (48h EC50: 2.07 mg/L), one by trend analysis (48h EC50: 4.73 mg/L).

Both estimations provide the same conclusion, i.e. 1,3 -difluorobenzene is considered as toxic to aquatic invertebrates. As a worst case approach, the lowest predicted EC50 value is considered for the assessment of the substance.
