Conclusions:
The auto-ignition temperature of trifluoromethanesulphonic anhydride is 440 ± 3°C.
Executive summary:

In a study (2015), the auto-ignition temperature of trifluoromethanesulphonic anhydride was determined according to the EC A15 method under GLP conditions.

The test was repeated at different temperatures (from about 100°C to about 600°C) with suitable sampling volumes until the minimum value of the ignition temperature was observed.

The auto-ignition temperature of trifluoromethanesulphonic anhydride was 440 ± 3°C.

Description of key information

One reliable key study scored as reliability 1 is available for this endpoint. The auto-ignition temperature of trifluoromethanesulphonic anhydride was determined according to the EC A15 method under GLP conditions. The auto-ignition temperature of trifluoromethanesulphonic acid was 440 ± 3°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
440 °C
