Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There are no information about the biodegradablity potential of Acid Red 336, thus the available data on structural analogous Similar Substance 01 have been taken into account (details and explanations are included in the report attached to the IUCLID section 13).

The inherently biodegradability potential of similar substance 1 was assayed in Modified Zahn-Wellens Test, according to the OECD guideline 302B. Under test conditions, test item attained 7 % degradation after 28 days and therefore cannot be considered as inherently biodegradable. The standard material, Digol, attained 100 % degradation after 28 days, thereby confirming the suitability of the inoculum and culture conditions.
