Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
In the DSC-measurements the test item CI Solubilised Sulphur Black 1 showed an exothermic effect from 130 °C with an energy release of -130 J/g. Due to the fact that the energy of the exothermic decomposition was below the threshold of -500 J/g, further tests on explosive properties had not to be performed.

According to the results of the test on thermal stability, the test item is classified as follows:
UN Transport Regulation: The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance in class 1 according to the UN Transport Regulation.
GHS (CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008: Annex 1: 2.1): The test item does not have to be classified as explosive substance according to GHS or CLP Regulation EC 1272/2008 Annex 1: 2.1, respectively.
Regulation EC 440/2008 and Directive 67/548/EEC: The test item has no explosive properties according to the Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.14. Explosive Properties.
Executive summary:

Summary

In the DSC-measurements the test item CI Solubilised Sulphur Black 1 showed an exothermic effect from 130 °C with an energy release of -130 J/g. Due to the fact thatthe energy of the exothermic decomposition wasbelow the threshold of -500 J/g,further tests on explosive properties had not to be performed.
