Conclusions:
The surface tension was determined in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 115 and EU method A.5 without deviations on the registered substance itself. Hence, there is no indication given that the results are not reliable.
The surface tension of an 1 g/L aqueous solution of the test item was determined to be 72.9 mN/m at 20.2 °C.

The surface tension of the test item was determined by means of a ring tensiometer according to OECD 115 and EU method A.5 (GLP). The test was performed twice. The surface tension of a 1 g/L dilution of the test item in water was determined to be 72.9 mN/m at 20.2 °C. Surface tension of water was 72.9 mN/m at 20 °C ± 0.4 °C, hence, the substance does not need to be regarded as surface active substance.
