- test mat.
- Incubation duration:
- 28 d
- Temp.:
- 19.5 °C
- pH:

- not determinable
- Conclusions:
- The goal of this study was to determine the solubility and released elements of C.I. Pigment Violet 2 (CAS 1326-04-1) when exposed during 28 days at pH7.
After exposure of the pigment sample for 28 days at pH7 and a loading rate of 1 mg/L, traces of tungsten and molybdenum were detected in all sample filtrates. None of the filtrates were found to contain phosphor (less than quantification limit of 10 µg/L). Undissolved pigment particles are clearly visible on the filtrate membranes demonstrating solubility of Pigment Violet 2 at pH7 to be far less than 1 mg/L. - Endpoint:

- Conclusions:
- The goal of this study was to determine the solubility and released elements of C.I. Pigment Violet 2 (CAS 1326-04-1) when exposed during at least 24 hours at pH1.
After exposure of the pigment sample for more than 24 hours at pH1 and a loading rate of 1 mg/L, minor traces of phosphor were detected in 1 of the 3 filtrates. None of the filtrates were found to contain tungsten or molybdenum (less than quantification limit of 10 µg/L).
Undissolved pigment particles are clearly visible on the filtrate membranes demonstrating solubility of Pigment Violet 2 at pH1 to be far less than 1mg/L. - Endpoint:

- Conclusions:
- When inspecting the Stericup-GV membrane, pigment particles are clearly visible. The filtrate
is clear and not coloured.
Based on the visual observation of the sample solution and filter membrane, the water
solubility of pigment sample 0245F batch 280PE310516 (C.I. Pigment Violet 2, CAS 1326-
