Conclusions:
The melting point of Octadecanoic Acid, reaction products with triethylenetetramine was determined to be in a range of 79 to 81 °C, using differential scanning calorimetry.
Executive summary:

A study on differential scanning calorimetry according to OECD Guideline 103 (27 July 1995) was conducted with Octadecanoic Acid, reaction products with triethylenetetramine.

The heating phase covered a range from room temperature to 500 °C. During the heating phase an endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range of 50– 130 °C, which can be assigned to the melting of the test item. In the temperature range of 230 – 450 °C an exothermic effect with a decomposition energy of approx. -1230 J/g, directly followed by an endothermic effect in the temperature range of 450 – 490 °C was observed.

Melting of Octadecanoic Acid, reaction products with triethylenetetramine was observed in a range of 79 to 81 °C.
