experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
March to June 2007
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: - Study generated according to generally valid and/or internationally accepted testing guidelines - Performed according to GLP - Test parameters based on specific testing guideline
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 109 (Density of Liquids and Solids)
Deviations:
no
Principles of method if other than guideline:
EEC Directive 92/69, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A.3 “Relative density”, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992.
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
air comparison pycnometer (for solids)
Type:
relative density
Density:
1.32 other: (corresponds to D4(20))
Temp.:
20.5 °C

The calibration procedure was performed in triplicate. The determination of the relative density of the test item was performed with two independent test item samples each measured in triplicate. See table 2 below for Determination of the Density of FP-100 which is in the report.

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the relative density of FP-100 was determined to be 1.322 g/cm3.

Description of key information

In conclusion, the relative density of FP-100 was determined to be 1.322 g/cm3.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.322

Additional information

The relative density of FP-100 was determined to be 1.322 g/cm3 by standard laboratory methods
