Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

EC50 (Daphnia magna, mobility) > 100 mg/L (WAF, OECD 202). No effects observed up to the limit of water solubility.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One GLP compliant short-term toxicity test with aquatic invertebrates is available for fatty acids, C16 -18 (even numbered), aluminum salt (Peter Greven, 2013). The limit test was performed with Daphnia magna under semi-static conditions according to OECD guideline 202. Since no significant differences were observed for mobility of daphnids, the 48-hour EC50 value was determined to be above 100 mg/L (WAF).
