No studies are available investigating the long-term toxicity of Reaction products of lauric acid and oxybis(propanediol) (List No. 700-627-1) to aquatic invertebrates. Using the valid QSAR model ECOSAR v1.00, a 21d-Chronic Value (ChV) of 17.19 mg/L was calculated for its water soluble main component, diglycerol laurate (Hopp, 2011). On the basis of this result the test substance is considered to have a low long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates. As the Chronic Value (ChV) does not directly correspond to the NOEC value needed for the PNEC derivation, the PNECs were calculated using short-term toxicity values.
