Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One study is available on the toxicity of for Fatty acids, C18 unsaturated, trimers, hydrogenated to soil microorganisms. The study was conducted according to OECD Guideline 216 and GLP. Soil was exposed to the test substance at test concentrations of 32, 100, 320 and 1000 mg/kg for 28 days. At 10 and 32 mg/kg test concentrations no significant difference compared to the solvent control was observed. At 100, 320 and 1000 mg/kg test concentrations an increase in nitrate concentrations was observed compared to the control. Given that the increase in nitrate concentrations could have only been due to an increase in the nitrogen transformation rate it was considered that the test item exhibited no adverse effect on the nitrogen transformation rate. The EC10 was thus determined to be > 1000 mg/kg dw.
