Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Remove any contaminated clothing and wash affected area with plenty of water; if irritation persists, seek medical
advice.
Eye contact: Rinse the eye with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical advice.
Inhalation: Remove the person from the source of exposure, rest and keep warm. In severe cases, seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Make the person drink plenty of water, induce vomiting and seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Not flammable. The material is water based and will not support combustion.
Accidental release measures
Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.): Wear appropriate protective clothing to protect against skin contact, eye contact and
respiratory contact in case of vapour/aerosol formation.
Small and Large Spillages: Absorb the material with sand, sawdust or other suitable absorbent, collect in suitable containers for
disposal. Thereafter flush with water or neutralising solution as required.
Handling and storage
The product does not require special handling conditions.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Skin: Wear suitable rubber or plastic gloves to prevent skin contact.
Eyes: Goggles or similar eye protection will prevent contact with the eyes.
Inhalation: Wear suitable respiratory protection in the event of aerosol/vapour formation.
Ingestion: Avoid ingestion.
Industrial hygiene: Change contaminated clothing. Wash hands after working with substance.
The provision of an eye wash bottle station and emergency shower is recommended for the working area.
Stability and reactivity
The product is stable unless subjected to strong heat.
Disposal considerations
No special considerations beyond those normally applied by Local Authority regulations.
