Additional information

Based on calculation, it is concluded that after exposure to air,4,6-bis(octylthiomethyl)-o-cresolwill be rapidly degraded by photochemical processes. The rate constant for indirect photolysis in air (OH-mediated hotodegradation) is 74.5678 E-12 cm3/molecule-sec and half-life is 0.14 Days (12-hr day; concentration of 1.5E6 OH/cm3)
