Description of key information

The EC50 of Daphnia magna  after 48 h of exposure to the substance Carbohydrates and Sugars, hexitols, anhydro,  is > 100 mg/L. The NOEC is equal to 100 mg/L.

The substance Carbohydrates and Sugars, hexitols, anhydro, was tested for its toxicity to the Daphnia magna according to the OECD Guideline 202 and in compliance with GLP.

All the validity criteria are met and the study is considered as valid.

The EC50 of Daphnia magna after 48hours of exposure to the tested substance under semi-static conditions is higher than 100 mg/L. The NOEC is equal to 100 mg/L.
