Results and discussion

Auto-ignition temperature (liquids / gases)
Auto-ignition temperature:
450 °C
Atm. press.:
1 015 hPa
Remarks on result:
other: test performed according to DIN 51 794

Any other information on results incl. tables

In the Preliminary test no ignition occurs until 460 °C with a delay of 1 s.

In the main test starting at 460 °C an steps down in steps of 5 °C. In a further test trials were continued at temperature 2 °C below the last ignition trial. For each test a new vessel were used.

The final result is the lowest ignition temperature, but reduced to the next lower multiple of 5 °C.

The result showes 450 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The result of auto-ignition temperature shows 450 °C at 1015 hPa
