An ISO standard defines density requirements for the rectified grade. For the crude grade, literature data for the two components showing the highest variation in the composition (i.e. cineole, density ca 0.9267, decrease by ca -20%, and alpha-pinene, density ca 0.8592, increase by ca +18%) shows that significant decrease of density is anticipated, which is supported by internal data from a notifier.

It should be noted that due to UVCB nature of the substance, batch variations are expected.
