Due to the fact of the differences in the solubility of the test item in water and in n-octanol the determination of the log Pow corresponding to the shake flask method is not feasible. Because the test item cannot be chromatographed under the prescribed conditions the HPLC-method is also not feasible. Due to this, the log Pow can only be estimated from the single solubilities of the test item in water and in n-octanol.
The solubilities was determined according to OECD 105, flask method and analyzed by UV/VIS spectroscopy.
The pH value is related to the water solubility.
