Additional information

On the basis of the available data, Uvasorb HA88 is not expected to degrade neither by biotic nor abiotic pathways. As a consequence of its low solubility, Uvasorb HA88 is not expected to distribute in the aquatic compartment.

In soil, Uvasorb HA88 is expected to have a moderate mobility, based on the value of the predicted absorption/desorption coefficient (Koc) of 271 (L/kg), and therefore it is not expected to accumulate in soil.

Moreover the substance is not expected to enter into the atmosphere because of its low vapour pressure (7 ∙ 10-13kPa at 20 °C). Although environmental emissions are negligible, the substance, if released in the environment, is not expected to bioaccumulate in the aquatic organisms.
