The vapour pressure of di-tert-nonyl polysulfide was measured at test temperatures 50, 60 and 70°C and was determined to be3.5 x 10-5 hPa at 50°C, 7.8 x 10-5 hPa at 60°C, 1.9 x 10-4 hPa at 70°C. The retention time of di-tert-nonyl polysulfide was at about 2.7 minutes for the first, 3.2 minutes for the second and 4.0 minutes for the third peak under these HPLC conditions. To quantify di-tert-nonyl polysulfide, the sum of the peak areas of all three peaks was used.
