Description of key information

Significant accumulation in organisms is not to be expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Neither aquatic nor terrestric studies studies are available for the bioaccumulation assessment of the test item. Since an experimental determination of the log Pow was not feasible, the calculation of the log Pow was based on "fragment constants" using the Hansch-Leo method, software CLOGP3 (see CIBA-GEIGY study report KA-85/13C, 1986).

The log Pow was calculated to be 1.6. Regarding this value, accumulation of the test substance in organisms is not to be expected. Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare a study on bioaccumulation is not provided.
