Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The study is considered to be scientifically unjustified.
Executive summary:

From the compositional description and the structural formula given, it can be concluded that this substance can never fully biodegrade to complete mineralisation. As the molecule is an organometallic substance that could never be completely biodegraded the result of any study can be predicted and it is therefore considered that the substance would be persistent in the aqueous environment. There are, however, adequate controls on the production and use of the substance to ensure that it would not be released to the aquatic environment during production or use.

The study is therefore considered to be scientifically unjustified.
